Ediberto Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onuralp Ergüden, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Jonathan Orlandus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos Campineiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRISDIELDAN the free kick. CRISDIELDAN's Ediberto Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Enekoitz in the 9th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Kléber Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Campineiro and the CRISDIELDAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Santos Campineiro's Kléber Viana got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of CRISDIELDAN booed when Santos Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Catarinense got free with Ahmad Reza Asadi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 23 minutes, Lúcio Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRISDIELDAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, CRISDIELDAN's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Orlandus came free, but Ediberto Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Catarinense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lúcio Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRISDIELDAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmad Reza Asadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Viana to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Lúcio Catarinense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ahmad Reza Asadi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Santos Campineiro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ediberto Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Santos Campineiro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
