Yao Guang Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Pirés in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Maximiliano Feliu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Blacknell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Yao Guang Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Darling in the 13th minute of play. Lucas Darling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Yao Guang Chao made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Darling. 25 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Feliu came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Danilo Christobal hit a great ball. Yao Guang Chao was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexander Cheetham. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Ranolfo in the 31st minute of play. Michal Budzyn kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Ranolfo in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Bobby Pirés dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yao Guang Chao, 2-1. Yao Guang Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastien Clifford in the 43rd minute of play. Maximiliano Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Yao Guang Chao came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Lions's Lucas Darling. But to his dismay, Lucas Darling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Camron Rhodes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Lemerond didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ranolfo in the 59th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yao Guang Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Rhodes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Pes. Yaji FC's Kryspin Ziemba was substituted for Arturo Ranolfo. Yaji FC's Man Chester was substituted for Maximiliano Feliu. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Pascual Pes hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Man Chester lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Grant Blacknell. The audience thought a goal was coming when Man Chester got free with Grant Blacknell in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Clifford to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Pirés in the 94th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Yaji FC's Man Chester started the play with the initial kick off. Kryspin Ziemba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Grant Blacknell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 103 minutes play. Man Chester hit a great ball. In the 107th minute, Bobby Pirés made a precise shot to the right of Yao Guang Chao. Yaji FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3.
