To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's goal looked a bit too open when Elsevär Reitsma came free, but 卓洲亦 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elsevär Reitsma got free with 卓洲亦 in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, 孔博宁 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maraman Reitsma came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's 魏弘宁. But to his dismay, 魏弘宁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔博宁 in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's goalkeeper 卓洲亦 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elsevär Reitsma. 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's 卓洲亦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elsevär Reitsma in the 24th minute of play. Abraham Sluis hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孔博宁 in the 27th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Elsevär Reitsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓洲亦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maraman Reitsma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 孔博宁 went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 卓洲亦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elsevär Reitsma in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行 booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gido van Zaanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 孔博宁 might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maraman Reitsma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 孔博宁 ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 played minutes, 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's 邓震洋 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行 reached it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 魏弘宁 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If 孔博宁 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 66 in the game by 魏弘宁 from a close distance when the talented Maraman Reitsma managed to make a qualified save. Ágætis Byrjun's players were relieved. Elsevär Reitsma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 卓洲亦 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Abraham Sluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ágætis Byrjun's Janne Reitsma was substituted for A.J. Reitsma. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Abraham Sluis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma got control of the ball when 魏弘宁 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Elsevär Reitsma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's 卓洲亦 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes Ágætis Byrjun's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 邓震洋 who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that 邓震洋 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maraman Reitsma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
