When Clube Audax Metropolitano's Wágner Monteiro in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GeRaÇãO-83's goalie prevented a goal. Didi Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save GeRaÇãO-83 from getting a goal against them. Pedro Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Pedro Rangel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by GeRaÇãO-83's Ren Jie Fan. But to his dismay, Ren Jie Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Jie Fan came free, but Pedro Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ren Jie Fan scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Rangel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Jie Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Wágner Monteiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guto Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Enol. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Monteiro in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Jacinto saved GeRaÇãO-83 from getting behind. When Carl Ancelotti fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GeRaÇãO-83's protests and gave Carl Ancelotti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Ancelotti to maneuver through the defense. Wágner Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guto Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Guto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Monteiro in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
After 51 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Balhikapungava Bonk. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Jie Fan in the 55th minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Pedro Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, GeRaÇãO-83's Didi Couto made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Rangel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clube Audax Metropolitano made a substitution. André Luiz Trancoso replaced Wágner Monteiro. 63 minutes into the game, Roberto-Carlos Lendaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Audax Metropolitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GeRaÇãO-83 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Roberto-Carlos Lendaa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ren Jie Fan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guto Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 66th minute Armandinho Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ren Jie Fan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Rangel. Pedro Rangel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. GeRaÇãO-83's Robinho Freire was substituted for Ren Jie Fan. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Anísio Velasco was substituted for Oséias Azevedo. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Freire in the 77th minute of play. Károly Mátrai hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Freire in the 90th minute of play. Guto Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas-Ignacio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GeRaÇãO-83 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
