The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silas Lira during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Silas Lira got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Alexis Sánchez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio Varela, 1-0. Edoardo Mauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Célio Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela got control of the ball when Grover Hofer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edoardo Mauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Vander in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Cearense in the 20th minute of play forced Villa di Molvena FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Mauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Yuan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Edoardo Mauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arlindo Vander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edoardo Mauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Vander in the 35th minute of play. Arlindo Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edoardo Mauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Cristoforo Limitone in the 40th minute really tested Célio Varela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Ramón Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the BOA VISTA E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Madureira couldn't finish the play. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alessandro Meirelles hit a great ball. If Grover Hofer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jiang Yuan charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jiang Yuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 49 minutes into the game, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Mauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Vander made a kick off. Claudinho Cearense hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Sánchez came free, but Célio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Limitone in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Limitone notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela. Célio Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Jiang Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio Varela. BOA VISTA E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jiang Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Ramón Madureira got a free kick in the 68th minute. Célio Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis Sánchez's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grover Hofer in the 72nd minute of play. When Alexis Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Villa di Molvena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Sánchez couldn't finish the play. Alexis Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Silas Lira hit a great ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Alexis Sánchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Célio Varela came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa di Molvena FC's Alexis Sánchez. But to his dismay, Alexis Sánchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Villa di Molvena FC's Fabiano Mattei was substituted for Alexis Sánchez. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grover Hofer in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes BOA VISTA E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Madureira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Limitone in the 95th minute of play forced BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Célio Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramón Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the BOA VISTA E.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villa di Molvena FC.
