In the 16th minute Harry Meikleham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuang Fan Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Claudio Caniggia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Célio Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eduardo Viana took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Célio Varela. Célio Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Caniggia in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Célio Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When SANFINS VLP's Eduardo Viana in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zhuang Fan Zhen's late challenge caught a BOA VISTA E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zhuang Fan Zhen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Zhuang Fan Zhen got a free kick in the 96th minute. SANFINS VLP's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
