David Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Claudio Caniggia got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Carlos Alberto Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, SANFINS VLP's Zhuang Fan Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. David Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Viana in the 15th minute of the match. David Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuang Fan Zhen in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, SANFINS VLP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Ejvind Haversen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, David Prada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute Carlos Alberto Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SANFINS VLP's David Prada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SANFINS VLP from getting a goal against them. Redbull Sala were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after SANFINS VLP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Falkrantz took the corner. Eduardo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lundgren having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Lundqvist. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ejvind Haversen in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Prada saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. After some careless play in the SANFINS VLP defense, Ejvind Haversen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Prada. The SANFINS VLP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Prada should have stopped the shot. If Ejvind Haversen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Prada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ejvind Haversen, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. David Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Viana in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute Alphan Alpaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Ahto Ylipikk. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Viana in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Lundgren saved Redbull Sala from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Lundqvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Viana got free with David Lundgren in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ejvind Haversen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Prada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. David Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ejvind Haversen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redbull Sala's David Lundgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Redbull Sala from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SANFINS VLP getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eduardo Viana hit a great ball. Eduardo Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but David Lundgren made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Lundqvist during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Claudio Caniggia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match was over SANFINS VLP could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Redbull Sala throughout the match.
