Tris Ruddock started the match with the kick off. David Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Weir in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes, Herbert Blomkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Chelsea and the SANFINS VLP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Blomkvist. Claudio Caniggia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdemar Setúbal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. David Prada had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Gus Weir's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of SANFINS VLP booed when Real Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Panther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dustin Schellander kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. SANFINS VLP's Claudio Caniggia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Claudio Caniggia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gus Weir struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. David Prada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Chelsea. After a defensive mix-up in Real Chelsea's zone, Claudio Caniggia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liam Edmunds came out of the goal and Claudio Caniggia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eduardo Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tris Ruddock in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Tris Ruddock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tris Ruddock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhuang Fan Zhen hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tris Ruddock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Dustin Schellander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tris Ruddock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANFINS VLP's David Prada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Caniggia got free with Liam Edmunds in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam Edmunds having to interfere. The supporters of SANFINS VLP booed when Real Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Bullock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Silveira, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Caniggia made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Tris Ruddock. In the 54th minute, Claudio Caniggia made a precise shot to the right of Liam Edmunds. Real Chelsea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Liam Edmunds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Caniggia, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Caniggia came free, but Liam Edmunds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liam Edmunds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Real Chelsea getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stu Bullock hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Claudio Caniggia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liam Edmunds was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Liam Edmunds stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Viana's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Stu Bullock got a free kick in the 90th minute. With a little luck, SANFINS VLP's David Prada got control of the ball when Tyler Tolley tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that SANFINS VLP were the better team. SANFINS VLP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
