Adeshina Nwosu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, Clube Atlético Luziense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Dante to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Brighouse FC's Wise Datoru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Brighouse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamilu Agoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Geraldo de Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adeshina Nwosu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Adeshina Nwosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Urbano in the 27th minute of the match. During the 29th minute of the match Bernardinho Dante completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardinho Dante a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Brighouse FC booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Danlami Okorodudu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brighouse FC's protests and gave Danlami Okorodudu a yellow card for diving instead. Danlami Okorodudu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Brighouse FC's Adeshina Nwosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Rodrigues in the 35th minute of play. Brighouse FC were furious when Danlami Okorodudu was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brighouse FC! Brighouse FC:s Adeshina Nwosu showed great skill when he stopped Luciano Rodrigues:s penalty. Luciano Rodrigues did an outstanding performance 40 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-4 to the right of an irritated Adeshina Nwosu in the goal. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Wise Datoru got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Adeshina Nwosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Brighouse FC defense, Gerson Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adeshina Nwosu. The Brighouse FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adeshina Nwosu should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 55 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Luz. In the 56th minute, Jamilu Agoda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavinho Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adeshina Nwosu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Adeshina Nwosu made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Rodrigues. Luciano Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adeshina Nwosu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Makama Ozomgbachi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A long shot from Flavinho Luz in the 70th minute of play was well struck, but Adeshina Nwosu made a really good save at the right post. Adeshina Nwosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Luz in the 75th minute of play. Luciano Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Adeshina Nwosu made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Délio Loyola threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brighouse FC's Makama Ozomgbachi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Celso de Amaral got a free kick in the 81st minute. Adeshina Nwosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo de Sena in the 84th minute of the match. Adeshina Nwosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Adamu Dooyum got a free kick in the 97th minute. Clube Atlético Luziense's Flavinho Luz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adeshina Nwosu but with some difficulty.
