Claudio Oso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luciano Rodrigues came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudio Oso could save by the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Maurinho Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Luziense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centenario Bohemio the free kick. After 16 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Luz. With 25 minutes on the clock, Martin Chano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Centenario Bohemio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Clube Atlético Luziense's Luciano Rodrigues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claudio Oso. A collision led to Centenario Bohemio getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tomás Silva hit a great ball. Tomás Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Clube Atlético Luziense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Loyola to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Maximino Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centenario Bohemio and the Clube Atlético Luziense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Maximino Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
Felix Luzea charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Luzea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Centenario Bohemio got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luzea. When Tomás Silva fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centenario Bohemio's protests and gave Tomás Silva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Luciano Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Luziense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Fonseca having to interfere. Claudio Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gerson Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Claudio Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Rodrigues in the 71st minute of play forced Centenario Bohemio's goalkeeper Claudio Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Centenario Bohemio's Claudio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Furlan in the 73rd minute of play. Axel Poza charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Poza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Axel Poza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Centenario Bohemio got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Silva. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Geraldo de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Luziense's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Fonseca having to interfere. Claudio Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo de Sena in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Alfonso Montrell could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Jairo Fonseca however easily saved by the left post.
