When Yens Iansens came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Dutch Rebels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yens Iansens couldn't finish the play. Henri Decorte's late challenge caught a Brighouse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henri Decorte helped the player get up and apologised. Henri Decorte hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yens Iansens in the 8th minute of play forced Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Adeshina Nwosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Brighouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yens Iansens came free, but Adeshina Nwosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolf Cappelsmans in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adeshina Nwosu saved Brighouse FC from getting behind. In the 15th minute of the match Dutch Rebels got a corner. Brighouse FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geoffry Borginions ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dutch Rebels's corner Geoffry Borginions fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adeshina Nwosu quite easily take care of the ball. Tobias Moerman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brighouse FC's Samson Eric Adeniran shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Tobias Moerman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wise Datoru went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Adeshina Nwosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Cappelsmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamilu Agoda scored 3-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Moerman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Tobias Moerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samson Eric Adeniran in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Geoffry Borginions shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adeshina Nwosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolf Cappelsmans struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Adeshina Nwosu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dutch Rebels. Dutch Rebels's Tobias Moerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samson Eric Adeniran in the 74th minute of play. If Adolf Cappelsmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffry Borginions received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adeshina Nwosu came out and tried to block the shot, but Geoffry Borginions slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 79th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Adamu Dooyum notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Dutch Rebels's Tobias Moerman. Tobias Moerman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Dutch Rebels booed when Brighouse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iroawuchi Alozie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adeshina Nwosu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geoffry Borginions. A hard, long distance shot from Adolf Cappelsmans flew over the goal. Tobias Moerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samson Eric Adeniran in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brighouse FC fully deserved thier win.
