Juan Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adamu Dooyum, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Adamu Dooyum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ijebusomma Omotunde during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oranil booed when Brighouse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ijebusomma Omotunde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onyema Tabiowo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Brighouse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ijebusomma Omotunde to maneuver through the defense.
