The referee ignored Clube Atlético Luziense's protests and gave Durval Luz a yellow card for diving instead. Durval Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A hard shot by Mark Eckegren from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Jairo Fonseca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Papilio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Löfdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ivan Västlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Papilio's Matthias Lagerberg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Matthias Lagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Toscano in the 92nd minute of the match.
