With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix got control of the ball when Ezel Lobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabrício Vergílio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabrício Vergílio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Amauri Félix had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Oscar Solano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
