An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Gomes in the 23rd minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Ksawery Winnicki scored to the left of an out of position Amauri Félix, making the score, 1-0. In the 41st minute, Roceira SC's Hulk Speed dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Israel Vidal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Válbson Moraes, made in the 44th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Roceira SC made a substitution. Dedê Oliveira replaced Aílton Damião. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Haaland in the 53rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Roceira SC's corner Michel Haaland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amauri Félix quite easily take care of the ball. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulk Speed in the 57th minute of the match. Amauri Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Haaland's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 94th minute, Michel Haaland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Roceira SC had played much better football throughout.
