Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Bielenda in the 3rd minute of play. With 8 minutes on the clock, Rüknettin Boğatekin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 1-0 came in the 11th minute when Eugeniusz Bielenda all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Fabrício Negri. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Bielenda got free with Fabrício Negri in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Figueira SC FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Dinamo Colorado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugeniusz Bielenda took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eugeniusz Bielenda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabrício Negri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Abraão in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Aparecido. With a little luck, Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri got control of the ball when Yuri Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Eugeniusz Bielenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Fabrício Negri managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Figueira SC FSCMZ's Yuri Reis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eugênio Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Yuri Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdo Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Yuri Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício Negri was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Femke Bol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Veloso in the 55th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Xavi Hernandez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Lamonica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xavi Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Lamonica in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Bruninho Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Femke Bol. Figueira SC FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruninho Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Bruninho Oliveira took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Femke Bol to make any attempt to save it. The Dinamo Colorado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dinamo Colorado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
