In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Izydor Wolnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ema City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Selçuk Özgebay in the 11th minute. The corner led Ema City's Selçuk Özgebay to fire away a dangerous shot which Izydor Wolnik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 15th minute José Augusto Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Trzenzalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MS Rybnik were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Ema City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cyprian Orling took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cyprian Orling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bartosz Trzenzalski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. José Augusto Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartosz Trzenzalski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Augusto Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Rosa in the 20th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MS Rybnik's Izydor Wolnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carneiro in the 23rd minute of play. Renaut Vuerinckx hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bartosz Trzenzalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Rosa in the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyprian Pracki during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ema City booed when MS Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Pracki didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 31 in the game by Cezary Nalaskowski from a close distance when the talented Izydor Wolnik managed to make a qualified save. MS Rybnik's players were relieved. After 47 played minutes, MS Rybnik's Cyprian Orling shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MS Rybnik reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Augusto Rosa to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, José Augusto Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MS Rybnik's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Augusto Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Izydor Wolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carneiro in the 57th minute of play. Roman Kicia kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. MS Rybnik made a substitution. Norberto Enmanuel replaced Kryspin Kolbert. MS Rybnik's Evaristo Fernandez was substituted for José Augusto Rosa. After a defensive mix-up in MS Rybnik's zone, José Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Izydor Wolnik came out of the goal and José Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ema City's José Carneiro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MS Rybnik's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the match, José Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izydor Wolnik. MS Rybnik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. José Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Izydor Wolnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ema City.
