The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Marcin Zworski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emalia Olkusz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Zworski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcin Zworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Rurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Devils getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bartlomiej Nienajadlo hit a great ball. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Innar Laaneloog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aad Aab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sunday Niedziela made a huge save. Sunday Niedziela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktoras Rurin in the 30th minute of play. Tobiasz Orszak in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sunday Niedziela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After taking down the ball on FC Devils's corner Isaac Henrico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sunday Niedziela quite easily take care of the ball. Aad Aab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Sunday Niedziela made a huge save.

The wind increased when Viktoras Rurin made the kick off in the second half. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Rurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Innar Laaneloog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Orszak in the 58th minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Sunday Niedziela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Emalia Olkusz's Marcin Zworski got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stein Jamieson got free with Artur Boruc in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Boruc made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Marcin Zworski sent off a good shot on target. Sunday Niedziela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktoras Rurin in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Emalia Olkusz's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Henrico came free, but Sunday Niedziela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sunday Niedziela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Devils's Olaf Karpinski was substituted for Bartlomiej Nienajadlo. Artur Boruc made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Stein Jamieson sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the game, Stein Jamieson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Boruc. Stein Jamieson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Emalia Olkusz eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
