Juan Luis Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Maximo Horquizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Majewski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 24th match minute, GÓRNIK PSZÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Borowski to maneuver through the defense. Juan Luis Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavies Casavela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Xavies Casavela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Luis Carneiro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Damian Majewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Manuel López came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Horquizar could save by the left post. Filcho Kordov charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filcho Kordov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Filcho Kordov got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Elvin Sexton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Sporting Buceo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Maureen Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Juan Luis Carneiro made a huge save. Juan Luis Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Casavela in the 59th minute of the match. Damian Majewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Juan Luis Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Good in the 72nd minute of play. Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Majewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavies Casavela to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras was substituted for Charly Good. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Xavies Casavela. Sharma Di Stéfano lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Juan Luis Carneiro but with some difficulty. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Juan Luis Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save GÓRNIK PSZÓW from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sporting Buceo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
