Eugeniusz Bucek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Aydemir Akburak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aydemir Akburak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pawel Mochowak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Kazimierz Czermak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haydar Genişyürek in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Bucek got free with Aydemir Akburak in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The referee ignored Gildia Magów's protests and gave Boguslaw Mlekodaj a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CEGIA CREW booed when Gildia Magów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Mlekodaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Patryk Radziszewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kazimierz Czermak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lukasz Pietras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gildia Magów's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukasz Pietras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aydemir Akburak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
