Korneliusz Rasimowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Man in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Eugeniusz Poniewaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Poniewaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felice Cavallaro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sosnowe Klimaty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mateusz Baran was slow to take the kick. During this time Ajax Poland's players had a chance to rest. 42 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Poniewaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kryspin Cwynar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Cwynar in the 47th minute of play forced Ajax Poland's goalkeeper Korneliusz Rasimowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ajax Poland's attentive Mateusz Baran managed to snatch the ball when Marian Matela made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Eugeniusz Poniewaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Cwynar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Eugeniusz Poniewaz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kryspin Cwynar. Kryspin Cwynar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Poniewaz got free with Kryspin Cwynar in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Poniewaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kryspin Cwynar. Sosnowe Klimaty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Poniewaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. A sloppy throw-in by Sérgio Monteiro in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ajax Poland's Abdurrahman Gulson. If Eugeniusz Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sosnowe Klimaty's Kryspin Cwynar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Sosnowe Klimaty from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 68th minute of play forced Sosnowe Klimaty's goalkeeper Kryspin Cwynar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugeniusz Poniewaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Kryspin Cwynar made a huge save.
