The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sunday Niedziela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Casavela in the 6th minute of play. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Good, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Innar Laaneloog came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emalia Olkusz's Sunday Niedziela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Good in the 16th minute of play. If Xavies Casavela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Horquizar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olaf Rawa. Marcin Zworski came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Horquizar could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stein Jamieson got free with Maximo Horquizar in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Emalia Olkusz's Innar Laaneloog in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Buceo's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Zworski got free with Maximo Horquizar in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavies Casavela in the 41st minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Sunday Niedziela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Emalia Olkusz defense, Maureen Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sunday Niedziela. The Emalia Olkusz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sunday Niedziela should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maureen Franco in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sunday Niedziela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute Charly Good shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sunday Niedziela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emalia Olkusz's Sunday Niedziela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Good in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Emalia Olkusz got a freekick which was hit by Stein Jamieson. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Sunday Niedziela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute Sergiu Receanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Receanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Horquizar having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Emalia Olkusz got a freekick which was hit by Innar Laaneloog. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maureen Franco got free with Sunday Niedziela in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yao Yan Sen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes, Emalia Olkusz's Olaf Rawa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Emalia Olkusz reached it. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hemminki Koivula in the 70th minute of play. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Good, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Hemminki Koivula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Maximo Horquizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Zworski in the 79th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Receanu in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sunday Niedziela. Sunday Niedziela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Sunday Niedziela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xinto Carreiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Good, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Xinto Carreiras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After some careless play in the Emalia Olkusz defense, Maureen Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sunday Niedziela. The Emalia Olkusz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sunday Niedziela should have stopped the shot. The Sporting Buceo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sporting Buceo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
