Jung 1972's Cristian Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Nurkan in the 5th minute of play. Emílio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Messias in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Nurkan in the 8th minute of play forced Jung 1972's goalkeeper Cristian Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Faccio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Gomes having to make a save. Erasmo Yeste received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristian Gomes came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Yeste slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Luiz Paulo de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Meriç Nurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Erasmo Yeste put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Gomes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
Jung 1972's Basílio Nogueira was substituted for Luiz Paulo de Sousa. Amedeo Faccio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Wilian Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Emílio Cordeiro made a huge save. In the 59th minute Amedeo Faccio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Nogueira came free, but Emílio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Nogueira in the 76th minute of the match. Emílio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Jung 1972's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Yeste came free, but Cristian Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Š¢σяpiσиŠ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jung 1972 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
