Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Joélson Pitta got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Anthon Mellbad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lara Peñaranda. Lara Peñaranda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 11 played minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Lenzi. Lara Peñaranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Mellbad, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Anthon Mellbad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joélson Pitta hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Wang Guang Wei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lara Peñaranda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anthon Mellbad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lara Peñaranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Lara Peñaranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Mellbad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Edmílson Arantes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lara Peñaranda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amílton Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Anthon Mellbad tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lara Peñaranda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lara Peñaranda came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Anthon Mellbad. But to his dismay, Anthon Mellbad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
The wind increased when Edgar Appel made the kick off in the second half. Anthon Mellbad might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lara Peñaranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthon Mellbad ran back to his position shaking his head. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Mellbad in the 52nd minute of play. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Mellbad in the 56th minute of the match. Joélson Pitta charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 58th minute Anthon Mellbad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Peñaranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Beneficiente defense, Anthon Mellbad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lara Peñaranda. The Beneficiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lara Peñaranda should have stopped the shot. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Mellbad in the 61st minute of the match. Lara Peñaranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Guang Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Anthon Mellbad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lara Peñaranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- made a substitution. Jeremias Velloso replaced Wang Guang Wei. Jeremias Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lara Peñaranda having to make a save. After some careless play in the Beneficiente defense, Lucas Gabrielli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lara Peñaranda. The Beneficiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lara Peñaranda should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Edmílson Arantes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Appel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Lucas Gabrielli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Lara Peñaranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beneficiente's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
