An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto de Sousa in the 11th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nova Era! Nova Era:s Tomás Tasso showed great skill when he stopped André Luís Zanette:s penalty. Tomás Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Egon Isaksson made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Tasso. Nova Era's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Alfredão Queirós was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. Alfredão Queirós hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tomás Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes Nova Era's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Serwacki who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nova Era's goalie and right to Egon Isaksson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nova Era's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Era's goalkeeper Tomás Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Nova Era's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Serwacki took the corner. Robert Serwacki made a great header on ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s corner, it was just that Nova Era's Tomás Tasso managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game André Luís Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Era's Tomás Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Egon Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Haryanto Haryanto-Ie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Didi Vergílio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. André Luís Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Wambasther Sneijder replaced Cláudio Caniggia. André Luís Zanettes short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Tomás Tasso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A well-hit corner resulted in Egon Isaksson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tomás Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Zanette in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th play minute André Luís Zanette came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tomás Tasso. 0-6. Nova Era's Tomás Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Nova Era from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes, André Luís Zanette made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Nova Era's Tomás Tasso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. André Luís Zanette scored 0-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th play minute André Luís Zanette came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tomás Tasso. 0-9. André Luís Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
