The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lara Peñaranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Joseph Joestar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Peñaranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Joestar in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lara Peñaranda. Beneficiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Joestar in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Joseph Joestar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lara Peñaranda. Beneficiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Joestar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After the first half Litoral EC - CIMZ were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Joestar made a kick off. If Dagoberto Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Beneficiente getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zé Pedro Viana hit a great ball. Lara Peñaranda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paulinho Penha. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beneficiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulinho Penha was slow to take the kick. During this time Litoral EC - CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dagoberto Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lara Peñaranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Beneficiente booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Joestar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Lara Peñaranda made a huge save. Kıvanç Bengi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lara Peñaranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Litoral EC - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Beneficiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulinho Penha took the corner. When the final whistle sounded Litoral EC - CIMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beneficiente.
