After taking down the ball on Marquês de Herval's corner Gao Xiang Guang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Moisés Arruda quite easily take care of the ball. In the 47th minute, Gaston Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1.
