Ali Toral started the match with the kick off. Wilian Pirani took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maicon Trevisan. Maicon Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Maicon Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steevy Ciobica in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when Jung 1972 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Toral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jung 1972's Bernardino Gaztea got a free kick in the 21st minute. Maicon Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Toral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Jung 1972's Cristian Gomes got control of the ball when João Pedro Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Jung 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Pitta to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Rafinha Cearense from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Cristian Gomes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Enio Terra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Gomes firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 35th minute Steevy Ciobica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Gomes was a little too slow when Enio Terra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 41st match minute, Jung 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Messias to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, João Pedro Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Gomes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Quirino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dito Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dito Quirino in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Gomes saved Jung 1972 from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Enio Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jung 1972 made a substitution. Tadeu Neiva replaced Ceferino Ranolfo. In the 62nd minute Enio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steevy Ciobica in the 66th minute of play forced Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Maicon Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maicon Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Messias in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Maicon Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steevy Ciobica. After a defensive mix-up in Jung 1972's zone, Enio Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Gomes came out of the goal and Enio Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes Jung 1972's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafinha Cearense who took care of the corner kick. Dito Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Enio Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cristian Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
