The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dinei Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gilg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on DIPLOMATA FC PAB's corner Song Xiong Hong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Olivier Gilg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olivier Gilg couldn't finish the play. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Gilg in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Olivier Gilg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olivier Gilg to make the kick off. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 57 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Montenegro in the 60th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Pinheiro was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Olivier Gilg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olivier Gilg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Norberto Trevisan in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Alan Franco. The crowd rose to their feet as DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinei Pinheiro. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Teoman Tokhan was substituted for Song Xiong Hong. 71 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Törnqvist came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Norberto Trevisan hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Trevisan. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Renato Quadros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dinei Pinheiro but with some difficulty. With a little luck, SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro got control of the ball when Olivier Gilg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although SeleSantos FC had been in control for most of the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB still came away with the win.
