Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Egídio Vaz got the match started through his kick off. Tomás Tasso came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Artur Sabóia. But to his dismay, Artur Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nova Era's Márcio Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Era's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Freire during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Nova Era was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Freire to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's Artur Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Tasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Artur Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lu Ladron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomás Tasso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Artur Sabóia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Tomás Tasso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Vito Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Era's Tomás Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Nova Era from getting a goal against them. Tomás Tasso was a little too slow when Xie Ao got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Nova Era booed when Motta Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Vito Freire sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aírton de Lima skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Sabóia in the 52nd minute of play forced Nova Era's goalkeeper Tomás Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Válbson de Alcântara put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Tasso. Pedro Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 56 minutes into the match, Lu Ladron notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Nova Era's Tomás Tasso. Tomás Tasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lu Ladron in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Ladron came free, but Tomás Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Vaz in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Nova Era were awarded a corner. Vito Freire went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Didi Vergílio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Didi Vergílio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Tomás Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 78th minute of play. Luizão Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tomás Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Armandinho Carvalho replaced Lu Ladron. In the 85th minute, Artur Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson de Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Válbson de Alcântara scored 6-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Motta Futebol Clube were the better team. Motta Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
