Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zé Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Andrade in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Tato Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Tato Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Que se abra o mar got a corner. Inazuma Japan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lando Norin ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lando Norin in the 11th minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Ramalho in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inazuma Japan's zone, Albertinho Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Vieira came out of the goal and Albertinho Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tato Vega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Vieira having to make a save. Tato Vega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Sandro Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Silva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tato Vega in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Vieira saved Inazuma Japan from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Sandro Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Paiva. Paulo Renato Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Sandro Tepedino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tato Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lando Norin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Que se abra o mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Andrade came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Tato Vega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Tato Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tato Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tato Vega in the 48th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Lando Norin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lando Norin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Tato Vega from a close distance when the talented Zé Vieira managed to make a qualified save. Inazuma Japan's players were relieved. Caio Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tato Vega might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tato Vega ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fred Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inazuma Japan's protests and gave Fred Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Inazuma Japan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Tato Vega in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Vieira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira got control of the ball when Tato Vega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Vieira made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tato Vega sent off a good shot on target. Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Inazuma Japan from getting a goal against them. With his leg Zé Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Que se abra o mar's Lionel Mesías was substituted for Albertinho Andrade. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Prestes in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tato Vega could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Zé Vieira however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira got control of the ball when Tato Vega tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute Adilson Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Mesías could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Zé Vieira made a huge save. Dorian Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Lando Norin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Zé Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Que se abra o mar. In the 96th minute, Inazuma Japan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lionel Mesías fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
