Lu Ladron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Zé Vieira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lu Ladron made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 7thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Zé Vieira would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Lu Ladron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Gilson Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12thth minute of the game Válbson de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Vieira made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Válbson de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Vieira. Zé Vieira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Inazuma Japan from getting a goal against them. Válbson de Alcântaras short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Zé Vieira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lu Ladron scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 32nd minute of play. Aírton de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Prestes in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Inazuma Japan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Dudu Hermes in the 38th minute really tested Zé Vieira's skills. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Renato Paiva was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Inazuma Japan's zone, Válbson de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Vieira came out of the goal and Válbson de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aírton de Lima made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gilson Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Válbson de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zé Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Válbson de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 minutes of play, Inazuma Japan's Antônio Aguiar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Tales França got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Armandinho Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Vieira was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
