Jacinto Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Enéas Mazza hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Dias having to interfere. If Jacinto Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Jacinto Munhoz scored to the left of an out of position Tony Dias, making the score, 1-0. In the 34th minute Dráuzio Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Tande. Tony Dias made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marquinhos de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Gildo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Meirelles in the 45th minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Guilherme Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráuzio Meirelles made a kick off. In the 63rd minute, Dráuzio Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belmiro Donato got free with Guilherme Mendonça in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Belmiro Donato shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guilherme Mendonça but with some difficulty. Tony Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marquinhos de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute.
