The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Renato Paiva got the match started through his kick off. Matheus Messias hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Elder Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Paiva in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Lucas Zagalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC St. Pauli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inazuma Japan the free kick. Lucas Zagalo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Inazuma Japan were awarded a corner. Eliseu Dante went to the cornerflag to take it. Paulo Renato Paiva made a great header on Inazuma Japan's corner, it was just that FC St. Pauli's Elder Vergílio managed to reach the ball for a save. Elder Vergílio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Renato Paiva's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. FC St. Pauli's Elder Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Paiva in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elder Vergílio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Paulo Renato Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Vergílio was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 25thth minute of the game Paulo Renato Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC St. Pauli's Elder Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Paulo Renato Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 53rd minute, Paulo Renato Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Elder Vergílio. FC St. Pauli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elder Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Pranas Užkuraitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC St. Pauli's supporters rose to their feet, but Pranas Užkuraitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Inazuma Japan had won after a very even match.
