With a little luck, MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis got control of the ball when Albertinho Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Maradona in the 15th minute of play forced Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Sandro Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, MINEIROS's Mário Maradona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Maradona in the 30th minute of the match. MINEIROS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ivar Eriksson scored to the left of an out of position Thommy Jadis, making the score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goalkeeper Thommy Jadis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Eriksson. 39 minutes into the match, Mário Maradona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Tepedino. Que se abra o mar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Maradona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The supporters of Que se abra o mar booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 尹森泉, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to Que se abra o mar getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lando Norin hit a great ball. MINEIROS were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Que se abra o mar's much stronger midfield.
