Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Édouard Deloge in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Víktor Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginaldo Teixeira hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Édouard Deloge came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Taraborrelli made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dorival Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toninho Madureira in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toninho Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorival Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Madureira in the 29th minute of play. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Melo in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Melo in the 38th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute BOTAFOGO were awarded a corner. Kauan Melo went to the cornerflag to take it. 41 minutes into the match, Kauan Melo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral. Betão de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorival Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Víktor Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. The tension between the BOTAFOGO and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes BOTAFOGO got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Ramalho. Kauan Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Teixeira. When Toninho Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the BOTAFOGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Madureira couldn't finish the play. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the game, Toninho Madureira lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Betão de Amaral. Édouard Deloge struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Betão de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTAFOGO. Betão de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Madureira in the 75th minute. Édouard Deloge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Toninho Madureira sped through S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão de Amaral. In the 79th minute, Édouard Deloge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Víktor Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Édouard Deloge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. Toninho Madureira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Betão de Amaral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Betão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Édouard Deloge, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gustavo Ramos's late challenge caught a BOTAFOGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gustavo Ramos hit a great ball. Toninho Madureira made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 92ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Betão de Amaral would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jaanek Oese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. BOTAFOGO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
