The audience was convinced that Joseph Joestar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gu Zhan Wei was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When Gabriel Mikovíni fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Santista CIMZ's protests and gave Gabriel Mikovíni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Joseph Joestar made a precise shot to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. Academia Santista CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, Joseph Joestar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Joestar in the 19th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Joestar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Joestar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Gu Zhan Wei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th minute Joseph Joestar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Joestar might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gu Zhan Wei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Joestar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Joestar in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gu Zhan Wei saved Academia Santista CIMZ from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Batista to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Joestar made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Dagoberto Custódio made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gu Zhan Wei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Dagoberto Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Joseph Joestar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gu Zhan Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Dagoberto Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gu Zhan Wei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Custódio came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Litoral EC - CIMZ made a substitution. Sílvio Luís Madureira replaced Andy Six. Litoral EC - CIMZ's André Hoffmann was substituted for Dagoberto Custódio. After 69 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kléber da Mata. After having played for 74 minutes, André Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Joestar in the 76th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Madureira. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joseph Joestar. But to his dismay, Joseph Joestar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Gu Zhan Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Joestar in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber da Mata to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kléber da Mata. It was beautiful to see Litoral EC - CIMZ's Fang Yong Qiang in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Joestar in the 97th minute of play.
