Alfonso Taraborrelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Trigo in the 8th minute. Alfred Chmelyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alfonso Taraborrelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Chmelyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Taraborrelli having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Alfonso Taraborrelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by BOTAFOGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jessica Xerifão was slow to take the kick. During this time Sumaré Sport Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of BOTAFOGO's goalie and right to Sebastian Brun. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. BOTAFOGO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Zé Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Sanches hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaanek Oese in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli got control of the ball when Sebastian Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfred Chmelyks short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Alfonso Taraborrelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, BOTAFOGO's Claudinei Sanches got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Dário Britto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sumaré Sport Club's Luís Fabiano de Sena quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sumaré Sport Club's Alfred Chmelyk managed to work through BOTAFOGO's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alfred Chmelyk dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Chmelyk to make the kick off. Zé Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sumaré Sport Club made a substitution. Mehmet Oğuz Uram replaced Xu Sha Quan. In the 85th minute, Kauan Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Trigo in the 88th minute of play. Claudinei Sanches hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Zé Trigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumaré Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sumaré Sport Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
