Habib Ali Picavea started the match with the kick off. Marcos Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tony Dias made a huge save. Duarte Quintal hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Habib Ali Picavea rounded Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel - FDFDF's zone, Habib Ali Picavea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Dias came out of the goal and Habib Ali Picavea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Alfredinho Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Tony Dias, making the score, 2-0. Marcos Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Tony Dias made a huge save. Manoel Massa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gualter Paraibano got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Ronaldinho Meira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tony Dias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tony Dias came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Morro Grande E.C's Ronaldinho Meira. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belmiro Donato to make the kick off. The Morro Grande E.C fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Morro Grande E.C's Marcos Ramalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tony Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ramalho in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Toninho Caca-Rato hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Habib Ali Picavea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Ali Picavea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Ramalho charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Ramalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Morro Grande E.C made a substitution. Hélder Velasco replaced Alfredinho Vieira. After 75 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Ramalho. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Marcos Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Ronaldinho Meira made a precise shot to the right of Tony Dias. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Tony Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Habib Ali Picavea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Morro Grande E.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
