To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 65th minute of play. Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Zé Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Edinho Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Filipe de Souza made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dorival Veloso immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Sumaré Sport Club booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão de Amaral should have stopped the shot. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Sumaré Sport Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.E. Cachoeirinha throughout the match.
