Toa Toa 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Que se abra o mar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Franklin Sá got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Lando Norin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Silvinho da Silveira got a free kick in the 20th minute. Túlio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tato Vega in the 24th minute of the match. Amílton de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Tepedino having to interfere. The Toa Toa 4EVER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Que se abra o mar were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deivid Galvão was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Lando Norin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lando Norin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toa Toa 4EVER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lando Norin was slow to take the kick. During this time Que se abra o mar's players had a chance to rest. Silvinho da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvinho da Silveira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Galvão in the 59th minute of play. If Ivar Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. When Franklin Sá was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. 66 minutes into the match, Albertinho Andrade notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva. Túlio Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Que se abra o mar booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Que se abra o mar's Lionel Mesías was substituted for Albertinho Andrade. Deivid Galvão hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Que se abra o mar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lando Norin in the 83rd minute. Silvinho da Silveira made a great header on Que se abra o mar's corner, it was just that Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva managed to reach the ball for a save.
