In the 2nd match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Válbson de Alcântaras short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Henry Van Herendael to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 11 minutes, Sidney Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRC WeeD Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Augusto Rocha during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, João Augusto Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Van Herendael having to interfere. Válbson de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Henry Van Herendael skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Válbson de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Henry Van Herendael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Jacinto in the 27th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Válbson de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRC WeeD Dogs's Henry Van Herendael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Motta Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dudu Hermes in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes, Válbson de Alcântara made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. BRC WeeD Dogs's Henry Van Herendael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Van Herendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 38th minute. Lu Ladron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Van Herendael having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Firmín Tous hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Sabóia might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Van Herendael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Sabóia ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bebeto Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. BRC WeeD Dogs's Henry Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Sabóia in the 53rd minute of play. When Lu Ladron came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Motta Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lu Ladron couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, BRC WeeD Dogs's Aírton de Lima threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bebeto Jacinto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute Freddie Vennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Van Herendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Bebeto Jacinto spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Motta Futebol Clube's goal. 66 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Pimenta came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válbson de Alcântara in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Van Herendael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Otávio Maranhense replaced Dudu Hermes. Motta Futebol Clube's Xie Ao got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Motta Futebol Clube's Armandinho Carvalho was substituted for Lu Ladron. BRC WeeD Dogs made a substitution. Eduardo Beltrami replaced Sidney Pimenta. After 93 played minutes BRC WeeD Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Firmín Tous. Válbson de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Motta Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
