Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara got a free kick in the 4th minute. Válbson de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton de Lima was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Nico Alcântara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nico Alcântara really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Ladron in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Dieguinho Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válbson de Alcântara in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Válbson de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Apocalipse FC's Aírton de Lima threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nico Alcântara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Válbson de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Motta Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Apocalipse FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dudu Hermes took the corner. After taking down the ball on Motta Futebol Clube's corner Dudu Hermes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gianluigi Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Ladron in the 39th minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Motta Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Válbson de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Lu Ladron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Válbson de Alcântara to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Apocalipse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Gianluigi Buffon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dudu Hermes. After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Celsinho Soares got a free kick in the 54th minute. Válbson de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lu Ladron got free with Gianluigi Buffon in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dudu Hermes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 63rd minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Válbson de Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluigi Buffon was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Válbson de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válbson de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Gianluigi Buffon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lu Ladron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Lu Ladron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. Despite being the better team, Motta Futebol Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
