João Vítor Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germán Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Vargas in the 4th minute of play forced Cães Vadios's goalkeeper João Vítor Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Freire came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by 27 de Mayo's Germán Cano. But to his dismay, Germán Cano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germán Cano in the 8th minute of play forced Cães Vadios's goalkeeper João Vítor Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germán Cano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Vítor Freire saved Cães Vadios from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Germán Cano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cães Vadios's João Vítor Freire. João Vítor Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernani Vargas scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Vítor Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germán Cano scored 0-4 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Vítor Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Vítor Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Germán Cano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Germán Cano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 27 de Mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 47 minutes of play, 27 de Mayo's Claudinei Tasso made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when 毛飞宁 made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Cães Vadios got a freekick which was hit by Ian Paiva. Cães Vadios's João Vítor Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Vargas in the 58th minute of play. Cães Vadios's João Vítor Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cães Vadios from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Claudinei Tasso lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated João Vítor Freire. João Vítor Freire was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Claudinei Tasso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudinei Tasso really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Germán Cano took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Vítor Freire. João Vítor Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. 77 minutes into the match, Cães Vadios's goalkeeper João Vítor Freire had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germán Cano. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when Cães Vadios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Vítor Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germán Cano went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. João Vítor Freire made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Germán Cano sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Germán Cano made a precise shot to the right of João Vítor Freire. Cães Vadios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. João Vítor Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Tasso in the 87th minute of the match. 毛飞宁 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Germán Cano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Freire. Cães Vadios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germán Cano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. A collision led to Cães Vadios getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cacá Loureiro hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, 27 de Mayo's Claudinei Tasso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. When the match was over 27 de Mayo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cães Vadios throughout the match.
