After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Adrián Espadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gláuber Brodel. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gláuber Brodel should have stopped the shot. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodolfo Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gláuber Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Adrián Espadas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrián Espadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jorge Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Jorge Sá in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo. When Kaká Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Grande E.C's protests and gave Kaká Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Habib Ali Picavea made a kick off. Gláuber Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 53rd minute of the match. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Amador Venceslao. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Cosme Jaen replaced Rodolfo Atarrabi. Godofredo Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Brodel having to interfere. Christiano Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber Brodel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustavo Tartalo. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha got a free kick in the 64th minute. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel got control of the ball when Răzvan Necula tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói Penha during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute, Gustavo Tartalo made a precise shot to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Răzvan Necula received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gláuber Brodel came out and tried to block the shot, but Răzvan Necula slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 76th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gláuber Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Morro Grande E.C's zone, Răzvan Necula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Brodel came out of the goal and Răzvan Necula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gláuber Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soroca F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
