An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 9th minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Meng Yu Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitaliy Vischak having to make a save. Meng Yu Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Tartalo in the 17th minute. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Meng Yu Hui despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa defense, Rodolfo Atarrabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meng Yu Hui. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meng Yu Hui should have stopped the shot. With 29 minutes on the clock, Percival de Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soroca F.C.:s goal. Thibault Delanoë received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vitaliy Vischak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 37th minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Meng Yu Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. Thibault Delanoë hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Meng Yu Hui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa from getting a goal against them. Meng Yu Hui made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Cosme Jaen replaced Rodolfo Atarrabi. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Meng Yu Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Godofredo Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Quilino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meng Yu Hui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sal Darby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meng Yu Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 84th minute of play. Meng Yu Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meng Yu Hui. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Răzvan Necula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soroca F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
