Toninho Soeiro lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha was substituted for Marcos Ramalho. Elói Penha's late challenge caught a ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Penha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Penha to maneuver through the defense. Robert Serwacki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Grau. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Zanette in the 97th minute of play. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ played a much better game than Morro Grande E.C and deserved their victory. The Morro Grande E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
