Zé Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Marquês de Herval got a corner. Inazuma Japan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gao Xiang Guang ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 21st minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 29 minutes, Alfredo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marquês de Herval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 31st minute of play. Zé Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Martins went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inazuma Japan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Xiang Guang was slow to take the kick. During this time Marquês de Herval's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Marquês de Herval's Gao Xiang Guang to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Vieira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Martins in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Alfredo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Martins got free with Zé Vieira in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tales França's late challenge caught a Marquês de Herval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales França helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Tales França got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Martins. German Cano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Alfredo Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The Marquês de Herval fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hortêncio Montenegro made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rui Silva. Marquês de Herval played a much better game than Inazuma Japan and deserved their victory. The Inazuma Japan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
