The Cöpacabana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Dumitru Lucaci notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Truman Harrington. Truman Harrington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aloísio Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dagoberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cöpacabana FC's Nimród Szőcs got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Dagoberto Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Lima in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Leite was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Vito Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Truman Harrington was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 72nd minute of the match Cöpacabana FC got a corner. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Loureiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Truman Harrington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Lucaci in the 84th minute. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Olchawa in the 90th minute of play. Bailey Kerns's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagoberto Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, PALMEIRAS-UTAH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlton Livingston to maneuver through the defense. The Cöpacabana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
