Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laércio Damião took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bene Animatus's goalkeeper Juvenal Talló, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Leandro Fonseca put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Velloso in the 10th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Jardel Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Pérez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 17 minutes of play, Bene Animatus's Leandro Fonseca made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Leandro Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Juvenal Talló made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Guia in the 24th minute. União Verde FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Bene Animatus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gil Paiva took the corner. The corner ended in Gil Paiva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jardel Velloso in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. After having played for 35 minutes, Simon Hooker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bene Animatus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hooker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Hooker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Jardel Velloso notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Luan Pena. In the 46th minute Leandro Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Agnaldo Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jardel Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Valdir Pérez managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Bene Animatus's Leandro Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Mendonça's late challenge caught a Bene Animatus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the game, Leandro Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdir Pérez. Leandro Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 59 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Prata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valdir Pérez, 0-7. The supporters of Bene Animatus booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir Pérez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Velloso went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jardel Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pérez was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Leandro Fonseca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leandro Fonseca in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valdir Pérez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sílvio Luís Prata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Pérez. That made the score 0-10 in the 88 minute of play. Leandro Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Valdir Pérez made a huge save. When Simon Hooker came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Bene Animatus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Hooker couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Bene Animatus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than União Verde FC.
